Programs
Programs for young people in Ontario.
We work with youth who are dealing with addiction or mental health, and with the families and caregivers standing next to them. Here is what that looks like in practice.
Who this is for.
Pathway to Hope works with young people in Ontario who are struggling with addiction and mental health. The care is personal rather than one-size-fits-all, and the goal is a safe and inclusive place where a young person can find hope and healing.
The four programs.
Holistic Support Programs
Everyone should be able to reach addiction and mental health support, whatever their background. These programs run through our free online academy, so there is no fee and nowhere you need to travel to.
The aim is a set of options that meet different needs, rather than one route handed to everybody.
See what is in the coursesMental Health Education
Understanding what is happening to you makes it less frightening. This program covers the mental health challenges people run into, and what helps with them.
The material is evidence-based and free to read. Part of the point is closing gaps in what people know, and taking some of the shame out of the subject.
Start with the AcademyWellness Workshops
The workshops are the practical side. They teach skills and strategies you can use in an ordinary week, and they cover the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual parts of looking after yourself.
They are meant to be interactive. People share what has worked for them and learn from each other instead of sitting through a lecture.
Ask when the next one runsSupport Initiatives
Recovery is easier when the people around you understand it. Our community support initiatives build a network of care for individuals and their families.
The work is toward a community where understanding and acceptance are already there, so nobody has to go looking for them alone.

Where to start.
The Academy is where the courses live, and the Academy page sets out what is in them. Dates for workshops and community sessions are not published yet. If you want to know when one is running, write to us and we will tell you.
Join our supportive network.
We work alongside the support people already have rather than replacing it, so that help carries on after a session ends. If you want to be part of that, there is room.
